Uneven is an architecture and interior design studio based in Vadodara, Gujarat, founded in 2007 by principal architects Shourya Patel and Dexter Fernandes. Over nearly two decades, the studio has completed more than 500 projects across India — spanning residential architecture, commercial and mixed-use developments, hospitality, institutional buildings, retail spaces, and interior design. Its portfolio ranges from private residences such as Kirti Residence, The Fold, and Cloud Nine to large-scale work including Agora City Center, 33 LE, and Sardardham, alongside hotels, showrooms, restaurants, and exhibition design.

The studio's name reflects its founding idea: architecture built on balance — solid against void, light against weight, form against function — a Yin-Yang principle that runs through every project. Uneven approaches each brief as a dialogue between a building and the people who use it, designing spaces that are contemporary yet enduring, and responsive to Gujarat's climate and context.

Sustainability is integral to the practice, with projects incorporating passive design, rainwater harvesting, solar systems, and material efficiency. This has earned recognition including the Asia Pacific Property Awards, IIID Anchor Awards, AICA, ID Honors, and the iGEN Design Forum, with features in Architectural Digest, Forbes India, Elle Décor India, Volume Zero, and Architecture + Design.

Working across Vadodara (Baroda), Gujarat, and cities across India, Uneven shapes residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces with a design philosophy that values quiet permanence over passing trends.
